Some minor loss at spine and at outer edge of lower cover, else excellent. 2. I Cinque libri de le antichita de Beroso Sacerdote Caldeo. Venice: Baldissera Constantini, 1550. aa10, A-Z, AA-OO8. Woodcut initials and printer's device. 8vo (148 x 100 mm). Contemporary full vellum. Early notation to title-page and marginalia throughout, very brief worming to preliminary and final leaves, partially disbound, covers with some cockling and rubbing. Nanni was one of the most famous Italian literary forgers.
