Document signed ('Napo'), Vilna, 11 July 1812 , authorising a single voyage to trade with England of the French ship 'Emmanuel' from Dieppe, printed with manuscript insertions, one page, 2° (480 x 350mm) , countersigned by four officials, blind-stamped Imperial seal, (small tears in creases), framed and glazed. Signed at the Imperial Headquarters at Vilna during the French invasion of Russia, this document authorises the export of various fabrics, chanpagne, porcelain etc. 'provenant de manufacture de notre Empire', and to import 'Riz, bled ou farine, et de matière d'or & d'argent, monnoye', and various other commodities.
