NATTES, John Claude (1765?-1822). Bath illustrated by a series of views , London: W.Bulmer & Co. for William Miller and William Sheppard of Bristol, 1806 [watermarked 1798-1801]. 2° (460 x 320mm). Half-title. Title and final text leaf with aquatint vignettes, that on the title hand-coloured, 28 fine hand-coloured aquatint plates by J. Hill and F.C. Lewis after Nattes. (Small neat repair to outer blank margin of plate XXI.) Full crimson straight-grained morocco, covers with double-fillet and roll-tool border, spine gilt in six compartments with raised bands, marbled endpapers, gilt edges, by (Riviere) of Bath (very light scuffing to extremities). Abbey Scenery 41; Tooley 340. A fine copy.
