Folio (383 x 245mm). 3pp. subscribers' list. 21 stipple-engraved plates, each in two states: printed in colours on ivory satin, mounted within ink-ruled and gilt-tooled borders; and in black and white on paper. Contemporary red half morocco, spine gilt in six compartments, lettered in the second, the others with repeat pattern in gilt, uncut (bumped and lightly soiled), 20th-century morocco-backed cloth solander box. Provenance : William Fuller Maitland (Stansted Hall, armorial bookplate); Almeric Hugh Paget, 1st Baron Queensborough (armorial bookplate). LARGE PAPER COPY, THIS ONE OF FOUR WITH THE PLATES IN TWO STATES, ONE ON SATIN. Lowndes notes that ordinary copies cost 15/-, the large paper £1 10s, and the present isssue 5 guineas.
