NEW YORK - REVOLUTION] Laws of the state of New-York, commencing with the first session of the Senate and Assembly, after the Declaration of Independency, and the organization of the new government of the state, anno 1777 . Poughkeepsie: Printed by John Holt, Printer to the State, 1782. First edition. 20th century cloth. 14 1/2 x 9 inches (37 x 23.5 cm); [2], vi, 3-255, [1] pp., bound with a continuation of the pagination through p. 300, partially printed on blue paper. Title stamped twice and with ink ownership marking, stain at gutter and thumbsoiling to margin, ink additions to index, trimmed close at places, overall a very clean copy. This Poughkeepsie imprint compiles the revolutionary acts of the state government of New York before the evacuation of Manhattan by the British in 1783.
