Lot of 2. Nixon, Richard (1913-1994). Real Peace: a Strategy for the West. New York: privately printed, 1983. First Edition. First Printing. Large 12mo, blue cloth boards with gilt titles to the spine, 106pp. Bottom portion of half-title page signed, inscribed, and dated by Richard Nixon, "To L. L. King/ With best wishes/ from Richard Nixon / 1-21-86" in blue/black fountain pen. Top half of same page signed by Gerald R. Ford (1913-2006) and dated "4/18/94" in blue sharpie. Ford was born with his biological father’s name, Leslie Lynch King, indicating that this was the person to whom Nixon was inscribing the book offered here. Ford. What an incredible Presidential memento, and almost certainly the only one in existence. Silver gelatin photograph, 8 x 10 in. Signed by Gerald Ford in silver ink. N.d. Condition: Book: Near Fine condition, as there is ever so slight wear to the base of the blue cloth-covered boards & the spine. Dust jacket, covered in mylar, has SLIGHT bump wear at the bottom edges & at the base of the spine. This UNREAD copy is tight, crisp & clean. Ford signed photograph: excellent condition.
