North Africa and Greece.- A good group of approximately 90 prints and drawings, including an original watercolour frontispiece design by [?]Russ dated 'Wien - 1837', an original monochrome book illustration of an ancient Egyptian scene, an original watercolour design for a book plate illustrating Egyptian jewellery titled 'Objets de toiletter des femmes du Kairo' and 'Pl. 8', and 33 lithographic plates of Greek tombs by Day & Son, the others of mixed travel interest, including a damaged 'Head of a Tiger', by Dicksee, and 15 half-page plates illustrating Cook's Voyages, watercolours, pen and ink, engravings and lithographs, largest 580 x 500 mm. (22 3/4 x 19 3/4 in), occasional handling creases, nicks and tears, surface dirt and browning, all unframed, mainly 19th century, (approx. 90).
