on verso, "Etruscan Head." Eugene Berman (American 1899-1972) was an artist known for his imaginary landscapes and his Baroque stage sets for ballets and the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Signed "E.B. 1959". Provenance: from the collection of the Estate of Mr. Robert Tobin of San Antonio. Site: 8.5"H x 6"W. Frame: 15.25"H x 12"W.
