With a vineyard area of 25ha, vines aged between 15 - 60 years old, and fermentation in traditional German oak barrels and stainless steel vats, Helmut Donnhoff produces some of Germany's finest Riesling. Particularly of note are those from the Niedehausen and Schlossbockelheim vineyards. The greatest wines of the region have been described as having the elegance of the Rheingau, the body of a Rheinhessen and the acidity of a Mosel. These wines are not to be missed.
