(11x8½"), original color pictorial saddle-stitched wrappers. The winner of the 1959 USGA Amateur Championship was Jack Nicklaus defeating two-time winner and defending champion Charles Coe. Nicklaus went on to win the Amateur again in 1961, winning both while attending college. Nicklaus went on to become one of the greatest golfers of his time, and was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1974. Lot Amendments Condition: A few faint yellow spots and finger smudges to wrappers; else near fine. Item number: 217789
