OMAS, Return to the Motherland limited edition ballpoint pen, 1997, with .925 standard silver vermeil barrel sculpted in haut-bas relief with the design of a mother and son dragon supporting the emblem of the Chinese pink dolphin (symbol of the love between mother and child) and the Bauhinia flower (symbol of Hong Kong), the band beneath portraying Hong Kong harbour, the cap in decorated with stylised fountains, the cap top engraved 'Return to the Motherland' about an enamel Bauhinia flower, with platinum plated 18 carat gold nib, piston filler, in its red leather presentation box, with paperwork Return to the Motherland pen was produced to commemorate the reunification of Hong Kong with China in 1997.
