OMEGA. EXTREMELY RARE STAINLESS STEEL AUTOMATIC DIVER'S WRISTWATCH Model: Seamaster 300 Reference number: 2915-3 SC Date: Circa 1958 Movement: Signed, 20-Jewels, Cal.501, No. 1646XXXX Dial: Signed, black, dart painted baton hour markers with luminous applied, polished arrow hands with luminous insert, white centre seconds hand with luminous insert Case: Signed, brushed and polished stainless steel, black bi-directional bezel with white Arabic numerals, screw down case, inner case back stamped PATENT PENDING, Bracelet: Signed, stainless steel, signed stainless steel deployment clasp Size: 38mm This watch makes up part of Omega’s “The Holy Trinity” of extremely rare watches. In 1957, Omega lunched the CK 2913, CK 2914 and CK 2915, which were each developed for the very specific needs to their users. Those who benefited from the watches special abilities were professional divers, racers or those who needed to measure short increments of time and for professionals working close to strong magnetic fields. The Seamaster used a Naiad crown, a unique mechanism which further improves the water resistance and protects the integrity of the watch by further sealing pressure as it increases. This watch is able to handle up to 300 meters and presented with a fitted rotating bezel divided in 10 minutes interval, so to calculate decompression stages.
