A superb, richly-inked impression of this scarce, early print, with strong colors. Paul Rosenberg became Picasso's dealer in 1918 and represented the artist until 1940. In the early 1920s he published a set of 10 pochoirs, including the current work, after a series of cubist gouaches depicting still life and Commedia dell'Arte motifs that Picasso had made in 1920 (see Zervos 82).
