PABLO PICASSO Georges Louis Leclerc, Compte de Buffon, Histoire Naturelle (Textes de Buffon) , Paris, Martin Fabiani, 1942 (B. 328-58; Ba. 575-605; C. books 37) the complete set of 31 etchings with drypoint and aquatint, hors-texte , title page in black and red, text in French, and justification, on Vidalon watermark Vollard , copy 103 of 226, with full margins, loose (as issued), the palest time staining, the paper slightly toned, occasional soft creasing at the margin edges, otherwise in good condition, original beige wove paper folders with printed titles, pale blue imitation morocco paper-covered protective boards with gilt lettering on the spine, pale blue and maroon morocco paper-covered slipcase with gilt embossed author's name on the spine (losses, split at the edges and general wear mostly on the spine). 409 x 320 mm. album
