A pair of mid 19th Century circa 1840's Gothic Ecclesiastical polished brass articulated candlesticks in the manner of AWN Pugin for John Hardman & Co. The candelabra form centrepieces comprising of a top section with central spoked wheel and and sconce flanked by adjusting arms with two soonces each. Each candle sconce with floral form drip trays. The central candlestick of cylindrical form with large drip tray and large baluster knop all raised on a domed circular base. Stamped Patent No 3487 (1844). Appears in good condition with arms functioning correctly (one slightly misshapen). Measures approx; 51cm tall x 60cm across.
