Panton Verner 1926–1998 Chairs Panton - 2 pcs cast brand Herman Miller, Switzerland, design by V. Panton in the 1950s, production of Herman Miller in 1971-1979, bright yellow varnished thermoplastic polystyrene, ridges under the bend between seating and base, height 83 cm , (later painted) In Bohemia, for example, they are part of the collection of the Olomouc Art Museum. Lit .: For this time do not sit down, A. Šimková, Muzeum umění Olomouc, 2011, p. 126. This is a collector model of the third series 1971-1975 of thermoplastic material. Chairs made of this material can be identified by combs under the bend between the seat and the base. By 1975, the third line was manufactured by Herman Miller, until 1979 by company Vitra. The most famous chair of the world was designed by the Danish designer at the end of the 1950s, but production began in 1967 thanks to the emerging series production processes. Production has gone through three phases of the development of production processes, according to which the age of the exhibit is determined. Panton Chair has become the world's twentieth-century design icon and the best-known chairs at all, and its success continues to this day.
