[Papacy - Spain] URBANUS VIII Papal bull adressed to the bishop of Barbastro, Bernardo Lacabra. Rome, Oct. 1 f. (x 51,5 cm; plica 5 cm), on vellum, in Latin, written with typical papal chancery hand in brown ink (seal missing). The text begins with one line in tall, elongated letters containing the pope's name. Lacabra (1579-was i.a. granted an annual pension of reales to take on the episcopal mense. He was appointed Bishop of Barbastro (Huesca) on 3 Oct. and Archbishop of Cagliari on Jan.
