FIRST EDITION. Engraved additional title, crudely hand-colored, and over 2700 woodcuts in text, a few hand-colored in an early hand. Henrey 286; Hunt 235; Nissen BBI 1490; STC 19302. Provenance: "E.M.(?) Smyth of Hartfild, 1686," inscription on additional title -- George Smyth early signature on additional title verso -- Charles Lakin, ink stamp on additional title margin -- Horticultural Society of New York, bookplate.
