Housed in matching original giltwood and painted frames, thought to have been made by the artist's brother Samuel Blyth; 19.75 x 13.75 in. (each, sight). Both portraits with hand-written inscriptions to back, misattributing them to pastellist John Johnston (Boston, 1753-1818). Provenance: Ex. Israel Sack. Property from the Collection of Dr. M.
