A Fine 18K gold automatic annual calendar bracelet watch with moon phase Reference: 5146 Date: Sold 18th July 2006 Movement: 35-jewel Cal.315/299 automatic, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, lever escapement, Gyromax balance, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung balance spring, 21K gold rotor, Stamped with Seal of Geneva, No.3420048 Dial: Cream enamel, applied polished baton hour markers and Arabic quarters, outer minute track with luminous dot 5 minute divisions, subsidiary dials at 3 and 9 for day and month, power reserve indication at 12, date aperture and moon phase indication at 6, luminous filled leaf hands, centre seconds Case: Polished tonneau form, screw down exhibition back, quick set buttons at 2, 4, 8 and 10 Strap/Bracelet: Brushed and polished 18K gold brick link Buckle/Clasp: Signed 18K white gold folding clasp Signed: Case, dial & movement Size: 37mm Accompaniments: Patek Philippe box, outer card, Certificate of Origin, brochures Fußnoten In 2005, Patek replaced the Ref.5035 with the Annual Calendar Ref.5146. With the second generation (and current) Annual Calendar, Patek brought about a host of changes. Firstly, the case size grew to 39mm - a more fitting size for the market's demand for larger men's watches. The 24-hour indication of the 5035 was replaced with a moon phase and Patek also introduced a power reserve display. The current lot is from the earlier range of 5146s which operated with the calibre 315/299 before being later replaced by the calibre 324 S IRM QA LU.
