With the second generation (and current) Annual Calendar, Patek brought about a host of changes. Firstly, the case size grew to 39mm - a more fitting size for the market's demand for larger men's watches. The 24-hour indication of the 5035 was replaced with a moon phase and Patek also introduced a power reserve display. The current lot is from the earlier range of 5146s which operated with the calibre 315/299 before being later replaced by the calibre 324 S IRM QA LU.
