Anthrazitfarbenes geripptes Zifferblatt mit aufgelegter Leuchtmasse Stiftminuterie, Leuchtmassezeiger, Zentralsekunde, Datumsfenster bei der Ziffer 3. Automatikwerk mit GG 21 Kt. Rotor. 45-Std.-Gangreserve. Werknr. «3620200», Ref. «5711/1A» und Cal. «324/390». Originales Lederarmband mit Dornschließe. Feingehaltsstempel und Herstellermarke. Dazu eine neuwertige, originale WG 18 Kt. Faltschließe. Sehr guter, funktionstüchtiger Zustand. Lederarmband mit Tragespuren.

1976 stellte Patek Philippe die sportliche und zugleich elegante Nautilus, das «Enfant terrible» seiner Kollektion, der Öffentlichkeit vor. «Das Gehäuse der Patek Philippe Nautilus ist der Form eines Bullauges nachempfunden. Der Name stammt aus dem berühmten Roman „Zwanzigtausend Meilen unter dem Meer“ von Jules Verne. Die Bullaugen von Kapitän Nemos Unterseeboot Nautilus hatten in manchen Darstellungen eine ähnlich ovale Form. [...] Mit dem Namen Nautilus betonte Patek Philippe also eine wichtige Eigenschaft der Uhr: die für damalige Verhältnisse sehr hohe Druckfestigkeit. Geneva circa 2006. White gold 18k. Bull's eye case with glass back. Anthracite-coloured ribbed dial with applied luminous pin minute scale, luminous hands, central second, date window at 3 o'clock. Automatic movement with yellow gold 21k rotor. 45-hour power reserve. Movement number «3620200», Ref. «5711/1A» and Cal. «324/390». Original leather strap with clasp. Hallmark and manufacturer's mark. In addition a mint, original white gold 18k folding clasp. Very good fully functional condition. Leather strap with traces of wear.

In 1976, Patek Philippe presented the sporty yet elegant Nautilus, the «enfant terrible» of the collection, to the public. «The case of the Patek Philippe Nautilus is based on the shape of a bull's eye. The name originates from the famous novel „Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas“ by Jules Verne. The bull's eyes of Captain Nemo's submarine Nautilus had a similar oval shape in some depictions.
