Beschreibung:

No. 101N "Emegê" fountain pen, Magnum-size, tortoiseshell celluloid barrel, visulated ink window, red hard rubber cap, derby-style captop and endpiece, gold-plated clip and two cap bands. 124mm. 14K gold circle-vent Pelikan nib, slight flex. Cap engraved "Emegê", representing Pelikan's Portuguese distributor, who had the Pelikan factory engrave all Pelikan pens sent to him so he wouldn't have to repair under warranty any pens he did not sell. Pelikan's only oversized vintage pen, making it highly sought-after by Pelikan collectors. Excellent condition, a few small spots of brassing to bands. A scarce pen made by Pelikan for export exclusively to Portugal in 1936. The restricted sale resulted in low distribution, hence the pen's present-day obscurity.
