A collection of material relating to Picasso and his circle, comprising: Picasso, 'Dove of Peace', sketch in ink on paper, 123 x 174mm, in clip frame; I. Grünberg, black and white photograph of Alberto Giacometti reading a paper seated at a table at the Petit St Benoit, St Germain, Paris, signed and inscribed on verso by Giacometti and dated 27 June 1946; and a group of black and white photographs, the majority taken by I. Grünberg, Paris, comprising: 24 photographs of Pablo Picasso with Jacqueline Rocque and others (1948-50), some taken at the beach at Vallauris in 1950, at the inauguration of Picasso's, 'L'homme au mouton', 1948-1950; of Henry Moore (5); of André Masson (5); Alexander Calder and Jacques Prévert (22); 1 André Gide (1); Erich von Strohein and Robert O'Flaherty taken at the Cannes Film Festival (1949); ?Henry Laurens (6); and 4 others (a few duplicates); together with an artist's notepad containing autographs and sketches by writers, artists and musicians, including Jacques Prévert, [Eduoard] Pignon, Tristan Tzara and Daniele Artur.
