FIRST EDITION OF THIS SCARCE PAMPHLET, which was "probably written by Nicholas King and follows closely Pike's journal. King's name appears on the map (which is not always present with the pamphlet) and there is a copy of the text in the Library of Congress wholly in King's handwriting...
