Rendered in high-relief raised shishiai togidashi maki-e and togedashi maki-e, in gold powder and autumnal pigments on black urushi ground, with subtle aogai (mother-of-pearl) details and okibirame gold flake embellishment. The decoration extends to the nib section and feed. 127mm. Vest form with flat captop and endpiece.
