Autograph letter signed, 'John Piper', Fawley Bottom Farmhouse, near Henley-on-Thames, Oxon, 6 September 1948, to Mr Ensor, returning a few of the sketches for Job, 'I hasten on to you a few of the sketches for "Job" which Sir K. Clark's secretary has returned. I hope they are the right kind of thing? ...', one page, 8vo, together with Elizabethan Love Songs, edited by John Hadfield with Lithographs by John Piper Cupid Press, 1955, colour lithographs, top edge gilt, remainder uncut, original cloth-backed marbled boards in glassine dust jacket, 8vo, (limited edition, 356/660 copies, signed by John Piper , plus Scott (William, artist), Soldiers' Verse.
