First edition, atlas volume, large quarto, half-title present, [A]4, B-N4, O2 (O1 and O2 bound out of order), illustrated with seven (of eight) maps by Thomas Kitchin (lacking the map of the middle section of the Mississippi River, numbered 2); one map full page, all others folding or double page; an untrimmed copy, with wide margins, deckle edges throughout, bound in later half leather, contents generally fresh with good type impressions, 11 3/4 x 8 3/4 in.
