FIRST EDITION, engraved portrait, 6 folding engraved maps and 13 engraved plates INCLUDING FIVE COLORED PLATES OF BIRDS, by P. Mazell after J. Woodcock. Sabin 64389; Hill, p. 239; Lada-Mocarski 42; Streeter sale VI, 3485; Zimmer p. 495. Contains descriptions of the Falkland Islands and Hawaii. Copies with colored plates of birds have become scarce. Provenance : John, Baron Rolle of Stevenstone (1750-1842), bookplate.
