(10¾ x 8½ in.) including margins and mount, slight crease extending vertically across right side of image, some slight browning to right and margins. A full-length seated portrait of the aviators, inscribed by Gatty on the upper-left corner of the image: "To our very good friend Bill Deegan Wiley Post Harold Gatty," and signed by both. "In 1933, Post became the first to circle the earth in solo flight. His time, 7 days and 19 hours, trimmed nearly a full day from the record he and Australian navigator Harold Gatty had set in 1931"--W.M.
