Lot of 3, including: Hoover, Herbert (1874-1964). 31st President of the United States (1929-33). A 1935 issue U.S. three cent postage stamp commemorating the Hoover Dam, referred to on the stamp as the Boulder Dam, signed Herbert Hoover in blue ink. Truman, Harry S. (1884-1972). 33rd President of the United States (1945-53). A 1950 issue U.S. three cent stamp commemorating the sesquicentennial of the establishment of Washington as the national capital, signed by Truman in black ink, PLUS two free franked envelopes addressed to the collector, one imprinted Harry S. Truman / Independence, Missouri at upper left and with his signature at upper right, the other hand signed From Harry Truman at upper left. Nixon, Richard Milhous (1913-1994). 37th President of the United States (1969-1974). A 1950 issue U.S. three cent postage stamp commemorating sesquicentennial of the establishment of Washington as the national capital, signed Richard Nixon in black ink, accompanied by the Office of the Vice President envelope in which it was returned, postmarked August 28, 1959, when Nixon was serving under President Eisenhower.
