An album of 25 documents and signatures of the Presidents of the United States from Washington to Taft, each tipped or inlaid to a separate page, preceded by an inlaid engraved portrait, bound with a printed title-page in an album, 4to, bevelled cream vellum boards, covers with broad decorative gilt-tooled borders and panels of leaf and garland design, the innermost dentelle border incorporating small onlaid lozenges of red and blue gilt-tooled morocco, in the center of the upper cover a stars-and-stripes escutcheon in onlaid red, white and blue morocco gilt, spine gilt-lettered "Autographs of the Presidents of the United States, ivory watered silk doublures and endpages, g.e., [pant, pant] minor crackling to vellum at gutter, slight scuffing at top and base of spine. CONTENTS: WASHINGTON, GEORGE. Autograph signature ("Go:Washington") and closing from a letter, addressed at bottom to "The Honble.
