Harrison"), as former President, to Mrs. Whitelaw Reid, Palo Alto, 12 March 1894. 1 page, 8vo, mourning stationery, matted and framed with an engraved portrait . Harrison discusses his travel plans to Stanford, where he will give a lecture, and then meet with the Reids afterwards. -- VAN BUREN, Martin. Letter signed ("M. Van Buren"), as President, to King Ferdinand II, of the Two Sicilies, counter-signed by John Forsyth as Secretary of State, Washington, 15 November 1837. 1 page, folio, with original envelope bearing paper Great Seal of the United States, both items matted and framed together, with an engraved portrait . Van Buren sends the official congratulation of the United States government on the occasion of the marriage of the King's brother, the Count of Syracuse, to the Princess Maria Filiberta of Savoy. -- McKINLEY, William. Typed letter signed ("William McKinley"), as President, to Sarah Duncan, his niece, Washington, 9 June 1899. 1 page, 8vo, Executive Mansion stationery, matted and framed with an engraved portrait . McKinley sends his niece a railroad ticket "for your trip here. We are looking forward with pleasure to seeing you soon. Your Aunt Ida is feeling better to-day than for some little time, and joins me in love and congratulations." Sarah was the daughter and namesake of McKinley's sister, Sarah E. Duncan. -- FILLMORE, Millard. Autograph letter signed ("Millard Fillmore"), as former President, to J. S. Perley, Buffalo, 4 February 1864. 1 page, 8vo . "I have your note of the 2d requesting my autograph and 'such others as I may please to denote' for the benefit of the Fair for the Soldiers Aid Society. I cheerfully give my own and regret that I am unable to add to it some of more value..." Together 4 items . (4)
