Eisenhower, the first 32 tipped to leaves of heavy matting paper opposite an engraved portrait of the appropriate president; manuscript title leaf, with the autographs of Truman and Eisenhower loosely inserted. Full red morocco by Rivière and Son, upper cover bears a large presidential seal with gilt eagle and white and blue morocco onlay, lower cover with the arms and motto of George Washington, accomplished in a similar style above a gilt facsimile of George Washington's signature, centerpieces within gilt rules and star cornerpieces, spine lettered and ruled in gilt in compartments; blue morocco doublures bearing the gilt-facsimile signatures of presidents, gilt turn-ins, blue silk endpapers, all edges gilt; spine ever so slightly darkened, upper hinge just started along tail-piece.
