Tad Esq. of Brighton, with a new fly illustrated: ' You are aware that this is the original edition of "North Country Flies" (Sampson Low & Co.) ... If I were writing the book anew I should introduce this fly -- a modification of the Broughton Point, the hackle being from the inside of a Jacksnipe's wing ... ', 12 lithographed plates, ll hand-coloured and initialed by the author in pencil, original green cloth (extremities rubbed).
