One of 550 copies. Facsimile Edition. "Biographies of big cowmen and history based on genuine research. The richest in matter of all the...books in the field" - Dobie. Reese declares it to be "the most desired and desirable book on the range cattle industry. This book contains an incredible collection of information on men and events concerned with cattle," and Decker notes that "the original edition [is] one of the rarest and probably esteemed of all books relating to ranchers and range cattle." The 1905 first edition is by far the rarest of the "Big Four" cattle books, a cornerstone for any range library.
