Guerin (NY), having an ormolu-mounted bookcase top with two paneled doors and decorative mountings throughout, the lower case with hinged fold out writing surface above two dovetailed drawers with pulls marked P.E. Guerin NY, all rising on tapering fluted legs; ht. 51.5, wd. 30, dp. 17.5 in. Condition: Veneer loss to lower case right side. Manufacture number stamp within backboards. Repair to hinges and some splits in the wood around them. Some loss to wood around top of writing surface.
