PSALTER -- Ordo psalterii secundum more et consuetudinem romane curie. Venice: [Bernardus Stagninus?], 10 February, 1491. Median 4° (217x160mm). Collation: [a 8 ?] b-i 8 k 6 . 70 leaves (of 78, presumably lacking quire a). 34 lines, double column. Type: 85G. Printed in red and black, 2-line capitals and 5-line woodcut initials in red. (Slight dampstaining and fraying in lower margin, very minor worming especially in last leaf.) Contemporary half calf over wooden boards, spine-liners from a 12th-century manuscript, (spine split, clasp lacking). Provenance : Buxheim, Carthusians (note and stamp on first leaf). Copinger II, 4942, calls for 78 leaves, but the book may be complete. Because of its rarity, Copinger's entry may have been made from this copy. Not in Hain, BMC, Goff or IGI.
