Raingo Freres a Paris, a Victorian five-piece clock set with the eight-day duration movement striking the hours and half-hours on a bell with an outside countwheel, the white enamel dial signed Raingo Freres a Paris, with gilt Roman numerals, brass moon hands and a turquoise surround, the rectangular case with decorative pillars to the front corners, a stepped base and curved pediment surmounted by a painted porcelain urn, with nine turquoise porcelain panels to the case decorated with raised gilt-work, with a further panel within the arch depicting a lady in a field and another below depicting a shepherd and shepherdess at rest, the panels to the sides decorated with musical themes, with a pair of candlesticks having matching porcelain panels and a further pair of tazze similarly decorated, height: 39cm.
