Printer’s device on title, woodcut diagrams and illustrations, ornamental initials. (Title very lightly soiled, light and even browning.) Contemporary blind-stamped pigskin-backed boards, boards covered with medieval manuscript leaf, painted in grey, large hand-coloured initial showing through on front cover (lightly soiled). Provenance: extensive old manuscript annotations in margins and on endpaper.
