Devizes', within moulded octagonal surround, the throat moulding fully inscribed, over moulded break-arched trunk door with chinoiserie relief panel, the whole later-fitted with a 19th Century movement of knopped four-pillar design, 140.5cm high Condition: Dial gilding has some discolouration and there is minor old vertical cracking, winding hole through D of Devizes, replacement 19th Century timepiece movement (wire fusee barrel but no fusee cone), case otherwise has general wear commensurate with age but is in remarkably good condition for a clock of this type, sold with weight, pendulum and winder - **General condition consistent with age
