RARE PAMPHLETS] A bound volume of satirical pamphlets with manuscript index at front, published 1710-44, in 19th-century half calf, selected titles gilt lettered between bands of spine compartments (covers detached). Titles include the following, all of which have few locations and in one case no entry in ESTC: 1. A Good Husband for Five Shillings; or Esquire Bickerstaff's Lottery for the London Ladies. Wherein those that want bed-fellows in an honest way will have a fair chance to be well-fitted , London: James Woodward and John Baker 1710, FIRST EDITION, 18pp. (lacks first leaf, title and verso of final leaf soiled, small piece torn from outer margin of title). 2. [TOLAND, John] The Description of Epsom with the humors and politicks of the place; in a letter to Eudoxia , London: for A. Baldwin, 1711, 8°, FIRST EDITION, [4] + 44pp. (some heavy brown spots, small hole to C3, title soiled). 3. Kiss my A [ rse ] is no Treason; or, An historical and critical dissertation upon the art of selling bargains , London: for A. Moore, 1728, 8°, FIRST EDITION, [4] + 28pp. (title, A2 and verso of final leaf soiled). 4.
