Beschreibung:

Rare piece of Kapton Foil, gold-coloured on the front and with a silver backing, originally attached to the outside skin of the Apollo 11's spacecraft Columbia. Accompanied by presentation cover signed by Buzz Aldrin (2) The delicate foil helped the crew to maintain comfortable temperatures within by reflecting the sun's intense heat off the ship; due to the extremely fragile anture of the foil most of it burned off the ship.
