Beschreibung:

4.5" heavy hand-painted resin statue of Mr. Natural. In oriignal box with illustrated booklet. Manufacturer's label and four felt pads on base. No limitation specified, but only a few hundred were produced before the manufacturer went out of business. Mint condition in very good box with original tape. Fully authorized by Crumb, this resin figure was meant to be the first of a series of Crumb statues, and the manufacturer optimistically advertised the product in Rolling Stone magazine at considerable expense. Sales were poor (maybe Crumb fans preferred Creem ?) and the company, Rock City, sank like a (rolling) stone. This scarce figurine is not to be confused with the vinyl Mr. Natural figure later produced by Kitchen Sink. Consignments Accepted for PBA's Next Comic Book Auction. Golden Age, Silver Age, Pre-Code, Original Art, Interesting Ephemera Sought. Contact [email protected] for details. PBA COMICS March 26th Comic Book Sale catalogues available. Supplies Limited. Softcover catalogues limited to 200 copies ($45 + $5 postage/handling). Hardcovers limited to 26 lettered copies, dust jackets, special limitation plates ($150). Contact [email protected] .
