A rare WWI First World War / Great War interest ceramic egg cup. Printed shield to front, with a quote from David Lloyd George to reverse, and a dedication to the base which reads; 'Made by the girls of Staffordshire during the Winter of 1917, while the boys were in the trenches fighting for liberty and civilization! '. To the inside of the cup is a small panel which reads ' Dedicated To The Patriotic Fowl'. Good condition, no damage or repairs, some crazing. Measures approx; 6cm tall.
