Half-title. 43 plates (one wood-engraved and letterpress plan, 23 hand-colored aquatints [3 double-page, 10 with overslips], 7 tinted aquatints [one with overslips], 13 aquatints [3 with overslips]), 9 aquatint illustrations in text [2 with overslips], and numerous wood-engravings in text. Contemporary calf (rebacked, old spine laid down). FIRST EDITION. The last of Repton's celebrated works on landscape gardening, which he defines in the introduction as "The pleasing combination of Art and Nature adapted to the use of Man."
