Type: 1:160G, 4:80G. 2- to 7-line initial spaces with guide-letters, sporadically rubricated, a few pointing hands. (Some light dampstaining and spotting, small wormhole at beginning, outer bifolia of several quires strengthened at hinge.) Early 17th-century goatskin over bevelled wooden boards, sides panelled with heads-in-medallion rolls, leaf ornament stamps at centre and in spine compartments, turn-ins tooled with heads-in-medallion roll, two fore-edge clasps (tear at head of spine, clasp catches worn, a little rubbed).
