Cadell, 1771. 2 volumes, 4°, half titles, engraved frontispieces and 15 plates (offsetting to titles, some spotting to preliminaries, one plate spotted), contemporary mottled calf gilt, yellow edges (spine of vol. I chipped, lacks two of four lettering-pieces, one torn, light scratch marks to covers). Provenance : Joseph Neeld (bookplate). FIRST EDITION. Huth p. 46; Mellon/Podeschi 60. BOURGELAT, Claude. A New System of Horsemanship , translated by Richard Berenger. London: Henry Woodfall, 1754. 4°, engraved frontispiece by G. Bickham after Heymer, title in red and black, errata slip pasted to blank verso of last leaf (short tear in frontispiece, clumsily repaired, frontispiece and title browned, some spotting of text), contemporary calf (rather worn).
