RICHARDSON, George (c.1737-c.1813). New Designs in Architecture. London: for the author, 1792. 2° (495 x 340mm). With the subscribers’ list. Aquatint title in English and French, dedication to the Earl of Gainsborough, and 44 aquatint plates by George Richardson & Son on paper watermarked ‘Lepard’. (Some spotting, small repair in the title margin, some margins lightly yellowed.) Contemporary half calf, red morocco label (spine defective, corners and extremities worn). Provenance : Hugh Lupus, 1st Duke of Westminster (1825-1899).
