Beschreibung:

ROGER MARIS 1967 H&B Professional Model GAME BAT This H&B signature model A92 gamer dates from 1967, the twilight of Maris' career, and a year in which he added one last World Series ring to his collection as a member of the St. Louis Cardinals. An accompanying letter from the bat's original owner documents how he obtained it directly from the Cardinals dugout during a 1967 game at the Astrodome. Ideal usage characteristics include heavy ball marks, stitch marks, and white tape on the handle. Factory records show Maris ordered this model and size only during the 1967 season, his second to last in baseball. On the knob appears the stamped model number (A92), a faintly penciled "33 ¾" (indicating its weight) and Maris’ uniform number "9" in black marker. Evidence of faint, indiscernible writing appears on the back of the barrel. Additional LOA from MEARS (A7.5).
