At the time of its production, the Rolex Ref.3529 was lauded for being the smallest chronograph available on the market. The square shape of the case, much like the popular rectangular shaped Rolex Prince of the time stands as testimony that angular case designs were often favoured during this era. Today, only few examples remain of this particular early chronograph. The combination of the salmon dial with the rose gold case is not only attractive, but adds further to the rarity and desirability of this lot.
